Even Andy Warhol Loved The Photo Booth

Cliques Photo Booth stumbled across this today:

Apparently Warhol loved the photo booth. For him it represented quintessentially modern intersection of mass entertainment and private self-contemplation. The serial, mechanical nature of the strips provided Warhol with an ideal model for his aesthetic of passivity, detachment, and instant celebrity. Warhol would incorporate his photo booth pictures in his art and started what is know as, “Pop Art” in the 1960’s.

We also came across an amazing photo (above) of Ansel Adams Usually Adams was found behind the camera taking photos of landscapes across America.

FACT: The photo booth was invented in 1889 by Mathew Stiffens.
